The Digital Craft Toolkit is part of the British Council’s Crafting Futures project, helping to expand crafting business learning opportunities through online platforms. Artists, designers, entrepreneurs or anyone else interested in crafts can freely access the toolkit. The toolkit was developed by Applied Arts Scotland for British Council Thailand, as such the courses are available in Thai and English, covering a variety of lessons such as setting business goals, overall business planning, creating design concepts, developing products, sales and marketing, as well as budget management. More than 20 designers and craftspersons from Scotland and Thailand also present their experiences through movies and interview videos.

We are working on releasing a Nepali version of the Craft Toolkit in 2021. In anticipation of the release, we are inviting volunteers to try out the toolkit and send us feedback, which can help us improve the local version of the resource.
